My Background & Experience..

Before becoming a mother myself to two beautiful children, I have always had a heart for caring for families. I studied Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University with a concentration in early childhood. Before graduating, I took infant courses and spent time working in the campus’ infant care room.

I have worked with ages 0-12 as a nanny, elementary school teacher, and daycare teacher. As much as I felt these courses and careers would prepare me for becoming a mother, nothing could have prepared me for what being a postpartum mom with a newborn was like.

I struggled with PPD/ PPA after my first son was born and decided that I wanted my second birth experience to be different. I sought resources such as a birth doula, a pelvic floor specialist, and hired a family friend to help care for our family this time during the postpartum period. It made all the difference and I cannot wait to support others during this season.
